After a day on the slopes, we are heading to Chez Popeye for a fun après-ski matchmaking party, whether you’re looking for romance or just a fun ski buddy for tomorrow! Matching will be powered by Matchbox, software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm optimizes for long-term compatibility based on values, but it’s up to you to see if the spark is there… on or off the slopes. How it works Upon arrival, you’ll take a quick matchmaking personality questionnaire. The Matchbox algorithm will then identify your optimal match at the party, using relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics. After warming up with drinks and mingling with fellow skiers, your mystery slope-mate match will be revealed! Event Structure 7:30pm – The event begins! Check in, grab a welcome drink, and start mingling with other singles. 9:00pm – DOORS CLOSE 9:15pm – A series of AI clues begin to help you find your mystery ski match 9:30pm – Matches revealed 10:45pm – Matchmaking finishes 11:00pm – After party begins - Doors open for the rest of the Thursday group 02:00am - Event finishes ✨ Tickets are free of charge, but you will need register to attend ⚠️ You must arrive before 8:45pm to guarantee being able to join the AI matchmaking! No worries if you don’t want to do the matchmaking, just join after for drinks from 11pm And don’t worry, no pressure to spend the rest of the evening with your match.
